Living Home Studio

This collaborative studio was tasked with developing a modern “House of the Future”. Our group was tasked with the “Kitchen of the Future”. Research was done on existing kitchens, as well as proposals for future kitchen designs withing the industry. Based upon this research and an understanding of future technology, modules were developed and prototyped to t within the new interactive counter-top. Two companies were created, Modulus and Mies En Place Kitchen, both working together to produce the kitchen of the future. Modules will be delivered by drone and placed within the kitchen based upon cooking preferences, which the Mise En Place Kitchen would learn over time as people used and interacted with the kitchen countertop.
